Why is it that when a woman has a choice between the underdog and a popular man she choices the stud?

like the way i see it i would rather date the "loser" because in my experience the underdog treats you better and appreciates you more while the "stud" kinda treats you like crap because at any given time he can leave you for someone else? i mean am i the only woman who would rather not expect anything and be pleasantly surprised by the geek or loser or the physically unattractive fellow? this is almost ALWAYS the case? and besides at the end of the day the "loser" will stay with you and is far smarter than the "stud" while the "stud" can't keep a job and beats his wife while the loser is the winner at the end? does anyone ELSE SEE THIS???? is so why do young women keep on falling for the same old act by the "bad boy"? i am a young woman and i can see this very clearly so why can't my friends and women in my life see past this bs?
