Do you see evidence that there are still many racists in this country?

Barack Obama is an honorable, centered and respectful man who has denounced attempts of leftists to attack Sarah Palin's family, the words of his pastor and the past actions of Ayers. On the other hand John McCain was part of a nazi ultra right wing death squad when they were active, involved directly although not criminally charged n the Keating five and his running mate ociates with a group of secessionists and wacko pastor; yet I haven't heard the conservatives condemn him or his running mate. In addition the McCain/Palin ticket has incited people at their speeches to yell out slurs like "Kill him, Terrorist, etc.". It is truly fascinating that you can have people calling Barack a muslim, a traitor and a terrorist and not one civil minded or decent republican or conservative condemn them for it. I recall reading an article several years ago where the neo-nazi's aka KKK stated that they would disrobe and blanket themselves throughout the political process in order to take back full control of the United States and from my stand point they are out there speaking loud and clear. What say you?
