What do i do? has this happened to u? [aggravated customer]?
You have the right idea just keep on bugging the store where you purchased it and call the main office or email. If You Bought it at Best Buy I would take it to that store and insist on talking to the manager in a nice LOUD voice, Then the manufacturer of the phone , INSIST on talking to the head honcho, Next the Telephone service Co Sprint and INSIST on talking to the top person. GET NAMES AND DATES. If a person says they can't give out their name, Then ask for a supervisor get their name and just keep going to the TOP.The little guy who sold you the phone just lied to get his commission $$$. Things like this have happened to me and it is another lesson in life and I watch jUDGE Judy to learn how not to fall into these traps ,ALWAYS GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!!!!
