Teeth Whitening?! Help?

I really want to whiten my teeth, but i have always been afraid because half, well its not even half just like 1/4 ( a little part) of my left front tooth is fake, because when i was younger it got knocked out and they put a fake on. I dont know if its techinally a cap or crown or whatever...but i want to whiten my teeth and like all teeth whiteners say they wont whiten caps, veneers, crowns etc. what should i do?
