Why does my friend lie?

Ok my friend claims to all his little buddy that he is not a virgin but the fact of the matter is he can't even go anywhere and then he bem trying to act all hard in front of them to knowin if sum one runs up in his face he ain't gone do nothing about it yea and he talks about other people then when u talk about him he wanna get all mad and fixin to cry . How do i tell him he needs to stop lieing about not being a virgin and stop tryi to act all hard all the time and he has been my friend since we were 2
