Why is there so much hypocrisy?

Hypocrisy. This word is often used to describe those who demand of others what they do not posses themselves, and you might be surprised at the places where it is found. Not so long ago, I became interested in the Kurdish struggle for independence, I believed that the Kurds should receive as much land as they deserve because of the atrocities committed upon them. Their propaganda always shows them as the oppressed, and rightly so, one can't forget the gas bombings of the 80's by Saddam. However, the oppressed has now become the oppressor. Like the Jewish oppression of the Palestinians after the Jews themselves were victims of a holocaust, the Kurds are now beginning to oppress THEIR minorities: the yrian Christians. To those who don't know who the yrians are, and most of you don't, the yrians are also known as Syriacs or Chadians, they are the descendants of the Aramaic people. Most yrians live in Iraq, but there are significant populations in nearby Syria, Turkey, and Iran
