Why do people read books by political pundits?

A lot of political pundits, such as rush limbaugh, bill orielly, keith olberman, bill maher, and many other write books. I was looking at a few of these books at a bookstore today and i flipped through a few pages of each. How could somebody sit there and read an entire book written by one of those people. Reading a few pages of those books reminded me of reading youtube hate rants. There funny in small doses, but an entire damn book?????? Not only that, but these books all had new york best seller on them. WTF. Do people really enjoy reading books that are filled with nothing but bitching and whining and complaining about whatever political party?????
