My Ex is with someone who just uses her..should i get involved?

I do still care about my Ex, i might not be "in love" with her still, but i do care about her. We were together 3 years, and realised it wasnt gonna work, so we just left it at that. Today i ran into her current BF, been with her for maybe 5-6 months, we were talking, and at first i thought this guy was pretty cool, and i was really glade she had found someone else. But as our conversation went on, he started telling me all these vulger things he does with her, and how he is just in it for the "" and how she has brake problems on her car and how he refuses to help her get them fixed, and I got really mad and i feel like i should do something. She's kinda slow, and I know she thinks he really loves and cares about her, but he doesnt, he told me. I know if we were still together, id help her out in any way i could, if she needed money for her brakes, id help. I always try to be there for my friends, and as much as i care about her still, i dunno if i should send her a email telling her all this stuff he said, or if i should not get involved or what. i just worry about her, and dont want anything to happen to her. I did send her an email asking about her car, and she said she didnt feel right asking for my help, since our relationship was over, etc, but i offered, so ill leave it at that. But should I tell her all this crap he said?
