I need a expert on apple iphones?

My iphone 4 has broken gl front and back from a 4 foot drop :P and better yet, the sleep on broke! But thank goodness it still worked. So i did research on how to fix it, and i just dont have the money, so i did more reasearch and found out if you jailbroke it, you could toggle the settings and find an activation method to use sleep mode, so i went to jailbreakme.com on my iphone, and it started to jailbreak, and i noticed the icon would disapear and i tryed over and over again, till i got the bright idea to hold down the home on and reboot it! Turns out, STUPID IDEA! Everytime i try to turn it back on with the charger the apple comes up, and dissapears and does it over again. And yes i know how to put it in dfu modr but i dont want to restore cause i have so many pictures and data on it that isnt synced to my computer! I need to know how to get my iphone working again with all my memory still on it... I really would appreciate it if you could tell me what to do! thanks guys!
